Some audience filmed footage of my college band The Moth Pokes at Upload Festival 2012. So proud of every song in this set and couldn’t think of a better group of people to have shared the experience with then the people at Thornes Park that evening. This noise makes me.

Had such an awesome time at Upload Festival 2012 at Wakefield College, genuinely the best show I’ve ever played and some of the best performances I’ve seen by fellow students. A truly incredible 2 days of music and fun. Photo’s by Ian Smart (facebook.com/popularmusicatwakefieldcollege) and my good friend Sera (thisisalandslide.tumblr.com/)

It’s always the simple things that remind me how beautiful life can be, such a lovely day at the seaside with my best friends.

Viking Death March - Billy Talent

“Crosses still burn, axes still fall. Down on your knees, you don’t look so tall.”

Such a catchy song, had the chorus on loop in my head most of the day. Even more excited to hear the rest of the new album now!

Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole - Scarling

“Say hello to my little friend, the world is getting ugly and we did it again.”

This song for me perfectly bridges the work Jessicka did with Jack Off Jill with the work she now does with Scarling. I might have to do them same and go from a Jack Off Jill filled day into a Scarling night :D

And lets move to the beat like we know that it’s over.

Favourite song ever and this is definitely the best live version of it.
